This information is provided for the data archive of users of power cogeneration and cogeneration plants with Diesel engines running on fuel oil,
and is extracted from our database of average data from the analysis of combustion gases recorded over the last two years (2003-2004) in several
cogeneration plants installed in Spain, equipped with engines from different manufacturers.
In each case, the fuel oil consumed contains less than 1% sulphur (obligatory since 01/01/03).
The emissions data are always referenced to a content in O2 of 5% in outlet gases, in accordance with legal regulations limiting pollutant
emissions for Plants of less than 50 MW, in order to show homogeneous and comparative data.
The Bacharach Index is determined for the gases as they leave the exhaust manifold, that is, with their actual O2 content.
