Dear Sirs,
We
are writing to provide a reference, which we authorise for circulation
as required.
We
can confirm that, when applying additive treatment to the fuel oil used
in our steam boilers, using “rb bertomeu beco F2/A” additive for
fuel oil, supplied by your company, we have measured approximately the
following improvements with regards to emissions, residues and coking
produced by combustion:
Reduction in soot emissions via the
chimney : 75 - 85%
Reduction in incrusted residues in the heat
exchangers : 70 - 80%
Time spent on cleaning heat
exchangers : reduced by 50-70%
Reduction in coking on
burners : 70 -
90%
These
results have been calculated over the period from October 2003 to
September 2005 (two years’ operation), in which the fuel oil has been
systematically treated with additives.
Our
installation consists of two pyro-tubing boilers with 25 Tm steam each.
Yours faithfully,
Otto Pérez
Industrial Engineer
Director of Production.
