This letter is to certify that in our Co-generation Plant, equipped with seven Deutz TBD 645 - L9 engines, we have been using "rb bertomeu" additives for fuel oil since March 2000, to our full satisfaction inasmuch as ostensible improvements have been observed with respect to periods in which were not using the fuel oil with these additives.

Since we began the additive treatment with “rb bertomeu” beco FI/ASF, we have noted a drastic reduction in corrosion in turbos and exhaust valves , obviously increasing the operating life of both elements and maintenance intervals, with the consequent savings in parts and maintenance, in addition to notably improving the operation of the installation.

With the use of the additive Beco F1/ASF in the fuel, the processes have improved with respect to prior data in the following aspects:

*               Absence of corrosion in exhaust valves.

*               Increase in their useful life.

*               Greater maintenance intervals, 25% up on prior data.

*               Improvements in the incidence of breakdowns in exhaust valves and turbos.

*               Optimisation of fuel consumption due to the better condition of injectors.

*               Optimisation of the processes of fuel separation, decrease in generated residues.

*               In general, a better state of cleanliness in the inlet conduits, valves and turbos.
