Additive for diesel boilers and furnaces

 

Additive that must be added to the diesel oil in order to optimize the combustion and to reduce the maintenance costs in any type of boiler/steam generator(SG) and furnace.

Effects: Saves fuel. Reduces pollution. Prevents coal buildup on the burner. Reduces encrustations on the boiler’s pipes. Optimizes the boiler’s energy efficiency.

It is manufactured , in correct proportions , based on the following active agents:

COMPOSITION 

a) 6-8% Soluble Magnesium carboxylate / Magnesium Organic salts of Fatty acids (molecules - trade secret) soluble in hydrocarbons.  

b) Dispersants, which  cause the uniform separation of particles of asphalts, coals and other solids which the heavy fuel oil contains, minimising sludge formation .

c) De-emulsioners, which accelerate the speed of separation of the water to the bottom of the storage tank, where it can be eliminated easily by bleeding the tank.

d) Surfactants, which  reduce the surface tension of the fuel and achieve better pulverisation ( a fundamental agent to achieve good combustion in any type of burner which  works with liquid fuel).

e)  Detergents, which  reduce the formation of carbonous deposits in the chambers of the burners, maintaining an excellent pulverisation and avoiding carbon build up.

f) Corrosion inhibitors, which  protect the metal parts of the fuel circuits.

g) Organic solvents, which  work as an excipient to these active agents, in addition to collaborate actively in keeping the fuel circuits clean.

ADDITION POINT  

The addition must be done in the storage tank , before filling the fuel tank or simultaneously to it, to achieve a good homogenisation of the additive – diesel oil mixture.

Normal maintenance dose       :  0.3-0.5  L / 1,000 L of diesel oil C
